I was thinking the same thing. I’m gonna be slow trucker with hazards flashing going 25 mph. Someone said the camera makes it look like he’s gong faster than he actually is but, I see he’s passing everybody so he’s going to fast for the conditions. You’re in a semi and passing cars in snow 😲😳🤷🏾‍♂️

Some of those turns look like a can of worms, others like malaria germs

Honest Question: Why don't drivers just go ahead and pass the plow truck instead of lining up and causing another traffic jam?

i have driven white bird hill over 25 times it is one awesome drive when it snows watch out it will scare you no doubt and that is with a 4 wheel drive truck

Whenever I get into winter weather I really miss my old manual transmission. I just don't feel comfortable tackling it with an automatic but all our company trucks are automatics. It's nice in SOCAL traffic but hate it for snow and mountains. I can't even put it in manual mode because it's been blocked by the company bean counters ☹️. Stay safe, great videos.

People don't understand driving on the white, way more forgiving than driving on the black, I seek it, much more predictable, you can feel when it wants to break. there have been times where i've blown past those in the left lane like they were standing still. snowpack is definitely better than icy, even when you're packing snow yourself

I started watching this channel during the early months of covid, when I happened to retire. I enjoyed every video and couldn't wait until the next upload. There have been long intervals of silence in the past, only for Mike to eventually return. I've finally given up on Mike. He has always been sort of a rebel marching to the beat of his own drum, which is his right to do and what probably got him fired from Quality. The hard truth is Mike doesn't give a rats behind about any of us, he never did. He's going to do what he's going to do and feels he doesn't owe anyone an explanation for anything. I've moved on but occasionally come back to read any updated comments.

Mike I enjoy your videos so much you get to see what truck drivers do every day in all kinds of different weather, my name is Steven I’m a retired truck driver of 45 years I drove tri axle dump trucks all year round I was local I’m from south west Pennsylvania so I drove in snow ice conditions, I learned to drive with patience in nasty weather cut back 5 to 10 miles per hour in snow I always felt a loaded truck was better than a empty truck. Just wanted to share that with you. Keep up with the good videos. Be safe and God Bless you and your family.

What kind of truck do you run? Seems like you run southwest and Rockies quite a bit. I drove 45 years Tri axle dump truck South west Pennsylvania all local I’m retired now I always dreamed of running the beautiful mountains and desert area I miss driving so much that is why I enjoy your channel and a few other it’s like sitting in the driver’s seat I drove a 18 speed Peterbilt best truck and transmission ever ❤❤❤❤❤😊
